Vestax PDX2300MK2PRO DJ Turntable

Description

When the PDT series came out in 1995, it was used in clubs all over the world. Evolution of the turntable continued with the PDX-a1, PDX-a2, the world's first digital control model PDX-d3, A.S.T.S. and then the PDX-2000 series. Now, we introduce you another evolution of the PDX-2300 with the MkII, answering the demands of the music scene today.

A supreme turntable
Less skipping thanks to the dual high-grade technologies that have been combined which gives the player comfort and concentration to create and play sounds on this instrument. DJ pioneer Mixmaster Mike is one of our many users who supports and performs on the PDX-2000Mk II.

New platter
Improved to simplify beat matching and performance play, this new platter has been lowered to a height of 7mm (0.27 in.) and has applied a flatter more smoother edge surface. Lowered to also match the mixer, the diamond cut platter is one of its kind.

Dyamic balance
This new system works to provide a constant amount of pressure regardless of the tone arm height, the quality of the vinyl or any external vibrations. This type of balance is particularly useful as it helps create better sound quality by controlling the pressure where the needle traces the vinyl.

New arm base
This new arm base incorporates a new height adjustment system that accurately allows users to set the arm height and to return to a preferred height setting more easily. The floating suspension system has been noted as the most superior anti-howling feature available on any turntable.

Fine pitch
Fast and accurate beat matching adjustment with a 100mm (3.93 in.) +/- 10% fine pitch control fader, without the center indent. The fader movement on this new model has been tightened in order to allow smaller and more accurate pitch adjustments. The Ultra Pitch Fader controls the pitch range by +/- 50%. Combined with the fine pitch fader, a total pitch control of +/ 60% is possible.

Direct drive motor
From zero to desired RPM in 0.5 seconds, the PDX-2300's original high torque direct drive DC motor enables to be one of the fastest start-up turntables in the industry. This powerful motor is controlled by an accurate digital servo, allowing any instantaneous pitch adjustments which bring an easier and more accurate mix.

Futuristic body
Shying away from tradition, the newly designed futuristic body of the MkII captures the heart of innovation and design. The high-density molded body provides the best possible acoustic sounds and the highest reduction possible from feedback.

Insulating feet
The feet on the PDX series are made of molded polyacetal plastic which assists to reduce the effect of external vibrations. Limiting the effects of external vibrations result in a better sound with less feedback and/or howling.

J arm
The J-Arm has been specifically designed for genres such as house and techno DJs who prefer the feel and track of a longer reaching tone arm but the performance and skip less tracking of a PDX turntable. Coupled with the new dynamic balance system, this tone arm provides a warm and accurate track that is great for long mixes and loud environments while keeping the aesthetics of the old.

Digital Display
This display, which reflects the pitch setting to one decimal place, will show positive and negative pitch changes up to 60%. This kind of display is perfect for beat matching and accurate routine performances involving pitch settings. A feature used and performed with any genre.

Pitch Bend
A pitch bend feature lends either 1,2,3 or 6% momentary control over the current playing pitch of the turntable. Pitch bend is especially useful when trying to lock playing speeds of one track to another smoothly and with accuracy.

Flat rear surface
For performance DJs it is important that the position of the turntable be as close to the mixer as possible. Thus the new PDX models have a smooth rear face with recessed RCA connectors so that the turntable can be placed flat against the mixer (or each other).

Pioneer DJM600 4-Channel Professional DJ Mixer

Description

The Pioneer DJM 600 is an an advanced DJ mixer that's surprisingly easy to use. The DJM 600 is loaded with features including a sampler, a BPM counter (Auto or Tap,) and digital effects. You can even sync the effects to the BPM of the song! Other features include fader start, for the Pioneer CDJ series, 3-band EQ per channel, microphone input, and very flexible headphone monitor split functions.

Auto BPM Counter
Equipped with a counter that automatically measures and digitally displays a track's BPM measurement range: 70-139 / 91-180 / 71-180 / Manual

The DJM-600 provides a visual confirmation of a track's tempo to allow the user to merge one song into another smoothly. Also, BPMs of tracks that are difficult to measure can be manually input by tapping on the TAP button.

Auto Beat Sampler
This is a new DJ function that allows you to sample your favorite sources and play them back easily at the touch of a button. The BPM is measured digitally and recorded automatically exclusively for designated beats.
( 1 / 2 / 4 / 8 / 16 ) beats,
Maximum interval: 6 seconds.

If set to the Stand-By mode when no sound is present, the function automatically starts and stops recording in response to the presence and absence of the input signal and achieves the correct sampling with perfect timing. What's more, the user can edit the end position, making possible a wide diversity of playback effects by making use of three playback mode options and the cross fader start.

Single Play: Plays back the recorded sound once only when the button is being pressed.

Loop Play: Plays back the recorded sound repeatedly when the button is pressed.

Stretch Loop Play: Extends or shortens the recorded sound in accordance with the mixed track's BPM and plays back the sound repeatedly.

Sampler info:
Sampling rate: 44.1 kHz
Resolution: 16 bit stereo
A/D converter 20 bit
Sampling time 8 seconds

Auto Beat Effector
Linked to BPM, the DJM-600 can add effects to each CH, MIC and MASTER independently. The user can produce music that makes full use of high-level DJ techniques by performing quick setting with the Beat Unit Switch button, adjusting the precise time parameters, or controlling the balance between the effect sounds and the original sounds by varying the mix ratio. Moreover, even when using the fader, it is possible to leave just the effect sounds without linking to BPM.

Delay: Repeats a sound once. The user can set the delay to their desired tempo.

Echo: Repeats a sound several times. The user can set the echo sound to their desired tempo.

Auto Pan: Automatically shifts the sound to the right and left. Also capable of short auto pan sequences that would be impossible via manual operation.

Auto Trans: Periodically cuts the sound.

Auto Filter: Periodically varies the sound color.

Flanger: Periodically reproduces a sound effect resembling a jet airplane ascending and descending.

Reverb: Reproduces a reverberating sound effect.

Pitch Shifter: Allows the interval to be freely varied throughout a range of +/-1 octave. With this, the user can compensate for interval changes when using analog turntables or for tempo changes when different makers' CD players are used. Additionally, choruses can be made by employing mix ratios.

External Effect Input (send/return): Allows the user to connect the mixer to an external effector or sampler, etc.

Headphone Monitor Split
When the Headphone Output switch is set to MONO SPLIT, the right channel becomes the master and the left channel becomes the CH sound. Choosing Plural with the headphone cue, the user can also hear mixed sound. Moreover, this function can perform right and left level adjustment, thereby making monitoring easier.

Fader Start Play
Connected to the CDJ Series, the DJM-600 can begin playback of a track using the sliding cross fader or the channel fader. It can mix tracks without creating spaces by setting the stand-by track's cue point and performing a single-action cut-in. Since it returns to the cue point via the back fader alone, sampler-style playback is also possible. Start/back play of sources recorded using the built-in sampler is also possible using the cross fader.

Equalizers
The DJM-600 is equipped with a separate HI/MID/LOW 3-band equalizer for each channel. This arrangement allows the stress of the instrument sounds to be adjusted within the range -26dB to +12dBfor an improvement of about 100% (Pioneer comparison) in sound extraction.

Other Functions
Cross Fader Curve: Choose from three types of cross fader start-up option.

Talk Over: Mutes -14db all levels apart from the microphone.

Peak Level Meter: Allows the user to instantly determine the source input condition for each channel to make possible certain operation without loss time.

Trim: Track input level composition is available. This function is compatible with diverse sound sources.

Independent Monitor Switch: Enables independent or simultaneous monitoring of each CH, MIC, MASTER and EFFECT.

Booth Monitor Output: Utilizing independent output terminals for booth monitor use, this function allows the sound volume to be independently controlled at the upper surface.

Recording outputs (RCA)

All faders, knobs, volume controls, buttons, etc., are made to professional-grade SS-use high-durability specifications and designed to stand up to hard use.

Pioneer DVJX1 Professional DVD Turntable

Description:
Introducing the future of DJ technology with the DVJ-X1 digital audio and video turntable! This groundbreaking product allows users to manipulate and playback synchronized digital audio and video in a way that will revolutionize the DJ industry. By imitating the form and functionality of Pioneer’s digital CD turntables like the CDJ-1000MK2, Pioneer is making it simple for DVJs to manipulate DVD visuals in exactly the same way as they would music. So real-time digital video scratches, loops and instant cues are all possible with the DVJ-X1, while the video and audio streams always stay in perfect sync, even when they’re being reversed and pitched.

Revolutionary Video Control
Realtime DVD Video Manipulation is possible - anything you could do with vinyl, and more, can now be done with DVD Video.

Hot Cue (sampler)
Memorizes up to 3 cue points per DVD/CD. These points can then be recalled by hitting either of the A, B or C buttons. This function can also be used like a mini sampler adding amazing versatility to a video show.

Reverse
Instant reverse is controlled by using a flickable switch. With no loss of tempo or pitch, it can be used immediately within any track without having to stop or start. Reverse can also be used with the Hot Cue and the Loop Sampler providing endless combinations and effects.

Real Time Seamless Loop
A quick and simple way to set a loop while a track is playing. Once the loop is set, it can then be looped continuously or until the ReLoop / Exit button is pressed. When released, the track continues playing without any pause. The loop can be re-trigged at any time by hitting the ReLoop button

Loop Out Adjust
You have the ability to adjust the Out point of a loop stored in memory. So now fine tuning a loop is both quick and easy.

Reloop
Hitting the Reloop button instantly takes you back to the beginning of the loop stored in the DVJ-X1’s memory. This can be done either while the loop is playing or at any time while the current track is playing. Clever use of Reloop can create some sample like effects. The same loop is always stored in memory until replaced with a new loop.

Emergency Loop
The Emergency Loop automatically creates a 4 beat loop based on the BPM of the track.

Memory
SD - SecureDigital
The DVJ-X1 has a memory feature that lets you store Wave data and Cue and Loop points with a thumbnail image* (thumnail for DVD memory points only). The data can be stored on a removable memory card (SD) or the player's internal memory. The removable SD card can also be used in any DVJ-X1, so once you’ve stored your favorite cue and loop points you can take them with you. The DVJ-X1 can read DVD Video, DVD-R (Video Mode), DVD-RW (Video Mode), CD, CD-R and CD-RW disks.

Front Loading
Loading discs without having to open doors or trays makes swapping discs and selecting tracks that much faster. It also helps to keep dirt and any nasty substances out of the drive’s working parts.

Auto Cue
This is the fastest way to find the beginning of a track. The sound level can also be changed to suit your style of music (-36db to –78db). There is also an option to turn it off if you prefer to cue up your CD tracks manually.

Manual Cue
Cue points can be set anywhere on the DVD/CD using either the Vinyl or CDJ mode. Adjustment is made by using either the jog dial or manual search buttons. The cue point is automatically stored in the internal memory (If SD is inserted in DVJ-X1, the cue point is automatically stored in the SD.) until it is overwritten with a new cue point. (Jog resolution for both audio for Vinyl and CDJ modes - 135 frames per revolution / 75 frames = 1 second. Resolution for video for Vinyl and CDJ modes - 135 frames per revolution / 30 frames = 1 second.)
*If an SD card is inserted into the DVJ-X1, the cue point is automatically stored in the card's memory.

Real Time Cue
A cue point can be set on the fly and stored into the internal memory by just simply hitting the In / Real-time cue button.
Cue Marker Display
The current cue point is indicated within the jogdial's center display to show where the cuepoint is relative to the current play position.

Built For The Professional DJ / VJ
To prevent accidental CD ejection or loss of mains power, the DVJ-X1 has safety guards around the power and eject buttons together with a locking feature.

Relay Play
Connecting two DVJ-X1’s with a standard 3.5mm mini-plug cable allows one unit to be put on standby whilst the other plays. Relay Play automatically starts the second player enabling them to play 'back to back' to give you endless music play.

Legato Link Conversion For High Quality Sound (CD Audio Only)
Equipped with Pioneer’s wide r ange technology– Legato Link Conversion. The DVJ-X1 is capable of reproducing sound frequencies above 20kHz, which are lost during normal CD-format playback. Not only does this give great sound reproduction but sounds closer to the original recording and more analog like vinyl.

Shock-Proof Memory and Anti-Vibration Construction
Sound jumps or skipping is prevented by using a 16 second shock-proof memory for normal DVD/CD play (minimum of 10 seconds if scratching and reading wave data at the same time in Vinyl mode). Anti-Vibration! An Oil-dampened floating suspension prevents sound skipping, even when the player is subjected to impact during use or vibrations generated from high volume music and low frequency bass.

Digital Audio Output
The DVJ-X1 is equipped with full-feature digital audio output. This means you can keep your scratching and master tempo playback entirely in the digital domain. Users who simply want to use the digital audio output for archival purposes may do so via the digital mode switch on the rear of the unit.

Improved Jog Dial
The CDJ-1000MK3's 7-inch jogdial has been improved to offer DJs another world's first -- the ability to quickly and easily alter the resistance of the jog wheel, which benefits from a new metallic ‘non-slip’ finish. The Jog Dial Display is now brighter and has been brought closer to the surface of the Jog for better viewing angles. The center display also features 45-degree markers for added visual cueing assistance.

Hot Cue (sampler)
Memorizes up to 3 cue points per CD. These points can then be recalled by hitting either of the A, B or C buttons. This function can also be used like a mini sampler for vocals, stabs, or breaks, adding that touch of creativity to any DJ set. The MK3 now allows loops to be stored to Hot Cues.

Reverse

Vinyl Speed Adjust Touch/Brake and Release/Start
Separate control knobs allow for quick adjustment of start and stop timing.

Tempo
Master Tempo
Pioneer’s Master Tempo locks the pitch of the track even when you change the speed. You can speed up or slow down the beat without any noticeable difference in how the vocal and instruments sound.

Tempo Control
A 100mm linear high precision slider gives DJs total control and ensures that the tempo adjustment is easy and accurate.

Tempo Control Range
Ranges of +/- 6%, +/-10%, +/-16% and +/-100% (+70%/-100% for MP3) can be assigned to the Tempo Control slider.

Tempo Control Reset
Resets the tempo to 0% or original tempo of the track regardless of the slider position.

Eject Button & CD Lock
The CDJ-1000 has a guard to prevent you from accidentally pressing it the eject button. The CD is locked until the track is stopped. This can be deactivated as well if you are looking to do quick mixes. The player also features a new Quick Return function; in the event you accidentally eject a playing CD, re-inserting the CD will resume playback from the point the music stopped.

Multi-Read Format
The CDJ-1000MK3 can read CD, CD-R and CD-RW disks for CD-Audio and MP3 data formats.

Front Loading
Loading CD’s without having to open doors or trays makes swapping discs and selecting tracks that much faster. It also helps to keep dirt and any nasty substances out of the CD’s working parts.

Cue Functions
Auto Cue
This is the fastest way to find the beginning of a track. The sound level can also be changed to suit your style of music (-36db to –78db). There is also an option to turn it off if you prefer to cue up your CD tracks manually.

Real Time Cue
A cue point can be set on the fly and stored into the internal memory by just simply hitting the In / Real-time cue button.

Cue Marker Display
The current cue point is indicated within the jogdial's center display to show where the cuepoint is relative to the current play position.

Legato Link Conversion For High Quality Sound
Equipped with Pioneer’s wide range technology– Legato Link Conversion. The CDJ-1000MK3 is capable of reproducing sound frequencies above 20kHz, which are lost during normal CD-format playback. Not only does this give great sound reproduction but sounds closer to the original recording and more analog like vinyl.

Shock-Proof Memory and Anti-Vibration Construction
Sound jumps or skipping is prevented by using shock-proof memory for continuous playback even in the event of a bump or knock.

Anti-Vibration
Oil-dampened floating suspension prevents sound skipping, even when the player is subjected to impact during use or vibrations generated from high volume music and low frequency bass.

Digital Output
The CDJ-1000MK3 is equipped with full-feature digital output. This means you can keep your scratching and master tempo playback entirely in the digital domain. Users who simply want to use the digital output for archival purposes may do so via the digital mode switch on the rear of the unit. All connectors on the rear of the unit are now gold-plated for higher connection quality and longevity.
